An Animal Crossing: New Horizon's player has shared a spot-on recreation of the iconic Kwik-e-Mart convenience store from The Simpsons.

An Animal Crossing: New Horizons player paid tribute to The Simpsons this week with a recreation of the show's Kwik-e-Mart. The game received a sizable amount of new content last November with the Animal Crossing 2.0 update, as well as the game's first paid DLC, interior decorating game Happy Home Paradise. Initially released in March 2020, New Horizons has sold over 32 million copies and has become one of the best-selling Nintendo games of all time.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons gameplay already includes a large portion of building and designing - players are given an entire island, as well as the interior of their home, to decorate however they please. The game's DLC Happy Home Paradise brings these elements to the forefront, tasking players with designing vacation homes for the game's anthropomorphic animal villagers and NPCs. This DLC added many new architectural options and design abilities, such as accent walls, pillars, and counters. Between these additions and the massive amount of items added in the Animal Crossing 2.0 update, players have plenty of options when it comes to bringing their ideas to life.

Twitter user gubblypie recently shared a brilliant recreation of the Kwik-e-Mart, the iconic convenience store from The Simpsons. Their design is incredibly detailed, with clever usage of Animal Crossing items to replicate the store as it is in the show. There's a Squishee machine behind the counter, custom panels that perfectly recreate the shop's automatic sliding glass door, and usage of the game's Frozen-Foods Freezer Wall in the background will remind any Simpsons fan of when character Jasper froze himself in an attempt to time travel.

Who needs the Kwik-e-Mart? I dooooooo 🎶 Wish the slushie machine was bigger and blue 😅 #ACNHDesign #ACNH #acnhinspo pic.twitter.com/KU9aZrKdOd

Animal Crossing: New Horizons has undoubtedly provided players with the largest amount of design possibilities when compared to other entries in the series. Between the extensive catalog of items, the new architectural options introduced in Happy Home Paradise, and new items that widen the opportunities of how players can use custom patterns, players have more options than ever before. This has led to New Horizons becoming one of the most active creative communities in gaming, with millions of players sharing their designs and inspiring one another.

This wonderful Kwik-e-Mart recreation is indicative of the abundant imaginative vision within the Animal Crossing: New Horizons fandom. With the abundance of options given to players, new ideas for builds and clever decorating tricks are seemingly constantly being discovered. Every week new brilliant recreations of famous sets and locales are shared by players, from which other users can draw inspiration and build upon to create something entirely new.
